DAVE WILD MEMORIAL - 17/04/2005 A heavy overnight frost made the fishing difficult even with the sun shining throughout the match. Steve Hill struggled for most of the day, but with a good last hour finished with a winning catch of 9lb 11oz of bream and skimmers. Steve pegged under the trees opposite the point takes an early lead in the Club Championship and Home Championship competitions. A close second was Leigh Holman fishing on the right of the main bank. Leigh caught bream, skimmers and a crucian to finish just 2oz behind the winner. Third was Steve Jones from the left of the main bank opposite the island. All three anglers caught their fish using a feeder with maggot or corn hookbaits. In the Junior competition Jamie Samson won the Jarvie one-day cup with 3lb 12oz. 19 Anglers - Total Weight 64lb 15oz
