John Rice Memorial Trophy - 12/09/2010 The John Rice Memorial Trophy was held at the Newpond. This match between Crawley
and Copthorne anglers was heavily weighted in Crawley's favour due to their greater number
of competitors. This did not prevent Copthorne angler Steve Green from winning the
match and becoming the inaugural winner of the trophy. Steve fishing from Peg 7 on
the Car Park side used a method feeder right across the lake to the back of the reed bed.
Most other anglers on this bank struggled with the far side producing most of the
top weights. 12 Anglers - Total Weight 148lb 9oz FULL RESULT
