Fishing is a funny old game, Paul Hearsey who cleaned up in three sections last week failed to even get a bite for the whole match this time around.  Phil Harris, who has been the in form angler all season only managed 6oz,  but with the help of his daughter Natalie still managed to pick up the Couples Trophy.  Natalie who caught 2lb 4oz of silver fish also bagged the Ladies Cup.  Barry Wheeler won the Committee Tankard with a single carp of 8lb 10oz on the Pellet Waggler.

Overall match winner was Pete Sawyer who managed 2 carp for 15lb 12oz and his first win with the club.  Pete fed pellet and used bomb with corn also bagging the Senior Citizen Trophy and the Golden Peg money.

Second was top match angler Chris Siddall with another one fish catch. Chris fished Pellet Wag baiting Chum Mixer and his carp of 10lb 14oz also gave him the kitty for biggest fish.  Third place went to Terry Archer using the Method Feeder baited with meat for a total mixed fish bag of 10lb 8oz.

Strangely,this venue produces huge weights for pleasure anglers but seems to switch off for matches.
