Transport Trophy Round 5 - 26/08/2007 The fifth round of the transport trophy was held at Sumner's pond. Once again the venue fished extremely well with Paul Budgeon finishing a clear winner with an excellent 124lb 8oz total. In an otherwise close match the next six anglers were separated by less than 5lb. Phil Harris went into the match leading the race for the Overall Club Championship. A third place finish meant he extends his lead to five points over his nearest rival. In the race for the Transport Trophy, Phil moves up to second in the table and Lenny Wells climbs to third. With just one round left only three anglers remain in contention to pick up the trophy. 12 Anglers - Total Weight 479lb 14oz FULL RESULT
