Home Championship Round 5 - 06/8/2006 The penultimate round of the Home Championship was held at Tilgate. After some excellent fishing at the venue this year the catches were a little disappointing, with only the two anglers pegged at the far end of the lake catching any weight. The winner on the day was Paul Budgeon who employed worm and feeder tactics for a 43lb 6oz total. Second placed Lenny Wells used a feeder and maggot combination to pick up five points and jump into second place in the Home Championship table. With one round left it is close at the top and five anglers are still in with a chance of claiming the top spot. In the Overall Club Championship, Phil Harris now has a three point lead after picking up a couple of points for a fifth place finish. 12 Anglers - Total Weight 92lb 14oz FULL RESULT
