Crawley vs Faulkners (Tilgate - 02/10/05)

Expectations were high going into this match as Campbells lake had produced some bumper catches in the week.  Unfortunately a much cooler night than recent affected sport with only odd pockets of bream being caught on the day.

Bob Dick fishing for Faulkners won the match with an excellent 41lb of bream from peg 33.  Bob used a feeder and maggot combination to easily win the match.  Second place went to Paul Shepherd on peg 37. Successful tactics were a feeder with corn hookbait for a 16lb total.  Nick Ardley also used a feeder at long range on peg 12 to take 15lb 8oz of bream on a variety of baits. 

The Faulkner's team made it a clean sweep in this year's fixtures winning the team match with 67lb 10 oz to Crawley's 58lb 11oz.
