Transport Trophy Round 4  - 9/11/2003

The final round of the transport trophy was held at Tilgate.  The cold conditions over the previous week made conditions difficult and weights low.  Competition leader Nick Ardley managed to catch a sinle roach which was enough to secure the trophy and give him an uncatchable lead at top of the overall championship table.

Winner on the day was Steve Jones who caught two skimmers and some roach for a 5lb 10oz total, using a combination of pole and feeder.  Second was Bruce Barnett with 3lb 12oz of waggler caught roach.
