Crawley vs Slaugham (Newpond - 25/08/02)
The small carp failed to feed in any numbers which meant that the top weights were made up of large carp and bream.
Simon Clark managed to land 3 big carp, including a 9lb common, for a winning 26lb 10oz total. Fishing on Peg 28, Simon fished the margins with a pole to take the winning net.
Barry Wheeler kept up his impressive form at the venue managing to draw in the 30's once again!! He finished second with 20lb 6oz consisting largely of three bream taken on corn and meat.
Crawley easily won the team match with 76lb 14oz to Slaugham's 52lb 7oz total.
