Crawley vs Copthorne (Little Rowfant - 22/09/2002)

Crawley were well beaten in the away leg of the interclub match.  The Copthorne anglers amassed a 95lb 7oz total, with a large part of this due to Derek Walter, the individual winner on the day, with 37lb 12oz of carp. Crawley could only muster a 28lb 4oz total.

This match was also the third round of the Transport Trophy and the fifth round of the overall Club Championship.  Steve Jones picked up six points with 9lb 8oz of carp from the Wilderness lake.  Paul Shepherd maintained his lead in the Transport trophy by picking up two points. He also closed the gap on Phil Harris at the top of the Championship table.
