XMAS Competition - 16/12/2001

A heavy overnight frost left the Silt lake frozen meaning the match had to be switched to the main lake at Tilgate.  The fishing was always going to hard but with prizes for everyone attending, 19 anglers turned out to brave the conditions.

The bream failed to feed leaving the battle for victory in the match to the anglers fishing for small roach on the main wall.  Jess McMahon managed to take approximately a hundred fish for 2lb 12oz.  Second pace went to Steve Jones taking 2lb of roach on the pole.
