Transport Trophy Round 4 - 11/11/2001 The final round of the Transport Trophy and the overall Club Championship was held at Millpond. Phil Harris capped an excellent season by setting a new five hour venue record with 25lb 14oz of bream on the feeder. Phil was already leading the Transport Trophy entering this final round so claimed the title by a clear six point margin. In the Overall Championship only Lenny Wells or Phil Harris could claim the title. Lenny had a four point lead at the start of the day, but in cold conditions when the fish were tightly shoaled into only a few pegs, he failed to get a bite. This allowed Phil Harris to become Club Champion for the first time. Second place on the day was taken by Grant Poole who put together an excellent bag of 11lb 10oz of roach. This narrowly pushed Simon Clark into third place with 11lb 8oz of bream.
